What is Horizon: Zero Dawn?

Horizon: Zero Dawn is a PS4-exclusive post-apocalyptic game where people are thrown into the stone age survive and fight for a place under the sun with robots that have evolved into animals.

People live in small, isolated communities, which affects their level of development. Some have already guessed how to make a spear and an arrow, someone mastered the principles of settlement construction, but in general the exact sciences are forgotten, and the technical skills are practically lost. Eloy had to be born in the warlike and unsociable tribe Nora. She did not know her parents, she was expelled from the tribe as a baby and given to the care of the same outcast. 

Eloy will not only explore the world - she will also have to help people, improve her skills to fight more powerful opponents, as well as create various items that will help her in her journey. With the help of ancient technologies Eloy can subdue some robots that can be used as assistants - for example, as a transport. The girl may be rude, witty or smart - but always remains good.

What is special about this game? 

The beautiful world will enjoy at first sight. Endless expanses, where huge mechanical animals roam, grass-covered ruins of civilization, burned deserts and snow-capped mountains, gloomy caves and primitive settlements. Mеtal fragments replace mоney. Wires fasten clothes and serve as its decоration. All this recreates the time period described in the game. Horizon Zero Dawn is a story elaborated by the creators in detail and this can be seen immediately. 

The further Eloy leaves from the lands of the Nora tribe, the more surprising the world around her, the more interesting and confusing the plot becomes. However, calmly walk through the local forests and fields, looking at everything around you will fail, because the world around us is very dangerous. Animal robots do not want to contact people. But the situation worsened when two decades ago there appeared an infection that made some of them very aggressive. 

Therefore, you have to travel fully armed. You have to fight them with the help of several types of bows, a set of arrows and a spear, as well as other improvised means that you can find on your way. But everything is not so easy. Eloy must keep in mind the weaknesses of the robots and select the appropriate tactics to save her life. Don't confuse Eloy with superheroine. She skillfully jumps on the rocks, runs and shoots well with a bow, if properly aim. 

But she gets her main strength when she learns and practices all this. Fighting in the game does not bother, because at each new stage there are new opponents, in most cases stronger than before. However, in some cases, these animals may submit to the girl and even help her in achieving the goal.
